Nonconsensual Intimate Image Removal
Effective May 19, 2026. Valid requests are actioned within 48 hours.
What this form is for
Use this form if you are requesting that Synceria remove a nonconsensual intimate image (NCII) from our platform. The TAKE IT DOWN Act (S.146) gives victims and authorized representatives the right to demand removal of intimate visual depictions published without the depicted person's consent. We are required to action valid requests within 48 hours of receipt.
You do not need a Synceria account to submit a request. Anonymous web-form submissions are accepted; abuse-prevention measures apply (see Privacy Policy §8 and Terms of Service §7).
What qualifies as NCII
Per 47 U.S.C. §1401 (TAKE IT DOWN Act), an NCII is an intimate visual depiction of a person published without that person's consent to disclosure. This includes images created from real depictions and digitally fabricated depictions ("deepfakes") of identifiable individuals.
If the depicted person is a minor, additional federal child-safety obligations may apply; please indicate the victim's age category on the form so we can route the request through expedited triage.
What we will need from you
- Your name and email address
- Whether you are the depicted person, an authorized representative, or a third party
- A description and any URLs / Synceria photo references that identify the content
- A good-faith attestation under penalty of perjury that the depicted person did not consent
- Your typed electronic signature
If you reference specific Synceria-hosted photos by ID, you must also identify the user whose account they belong to. This prevents the form from being used to silently hide arbitrary content that does not actually depict you. Description-only / external-URL submissions are routed to admin for manual review.
What happens after you submit
- You will receive a request reference number
- Our team is notified immediately and the 48-hour clock starts
- If your request identifies content owned by the named user, that content is hidden right away
- Third-party submissions and ownership-mismatched items are reviewed by an administrator before any visibility change
- You will receive a written outcome
Knowingly false NCII removal requests are unlawful and may result in account suspension or termination, referral to law enforcement, and civil liability under the TAKE IT DOWN Act. The good-faith attestation is signed under penalty of perjury.
